I first experienced tandem flight with a friend of mine in 1993 and I immediately knew that I would take up paragliding in the future. However, I dedicated a lot of my time to climbing at that time. I did my first solo flight in 2003 and start more seriously flying in 2005. I continued because It give me similar feeling of freedom as climbing but from another perspective. In recent years, I attend long h&f events , which combine almost all the sports which I prefer.
I started climbing in '90. Since then I have accomplished a lot of alpine climbs in winter and summer, including some first ascents. I have climbed ice and rocky routes all over the Alps. A few times I have been climbing in Patagonia, North America and Canada, where we climbed some big wall routes. My last climbing expedition was in 2005 Karakoram Pakistan.
2009 second place in Xc Slo league
Longest flight 220km
Ultratrail Tor des Geants (330km / 24000m)
Some nice flights and runs on Bordairline and Crossalps events
