I was looking for new adventures and challenges that can be found in nature. When I began to fly in 1990, the parachute allowed me to descend easily from the top of the hill. One of my first flights was from Kredarica, then in 1992 from Gran Paradiso, Mont Blanc. Since then I have been frequently reaching mountain peaks and flying. I like choosing the highest peaks of various countries I have visited since I began to fly. First, I did paragliding to prove myself, but now I fly out of pleasure as it fulfils my life. It allows me to be a part of nature, which I continually discover, and I am still eager to experience new adventures.
I have competed in the disciplines such as accuracy landing, acro, xc and Hike & Fly.
My highest achievements were the 2nd place at Paragliding Accuracy World Cup in England in 2000 and the 1st place at FAI Paragliding Accuracy Ranking in 2000.
In the past few years, I have only attended paragliding Hike & Fly competitions, and in season 2015, I achieved 4th place at Bordairline Adventure Race.
I graduated from paragliding at the Faculty of Sport, the University of Ljubljana.
I have written a textbook on the flight techniques and methodology of teaching paragliding as well as numerous professional articles published in journals.
As a paragliding expert, I have taught more than 400 candidates to experience the freedom of flying.
