As a child, I used to have a recurring dream that I was flying and had always had an interest in taking things apart and building things. 'I made my first remote control airplane aged 16, tested to be an Air Force fighter pilot at 18 and ended up becoming a motorsports engineer at 24. Since then I’ve a lot of different things, from designing Formula 1 parts starting 3 businesses mainly specializing in drones. In spring 2014, whilst out walking in the Peak District, I saw paragliders first hand, taking off next to me. I was amazed by the whole concept of having wings in a backpack and signed up for a course the same day. I’ve been loving flying more and more and to me learning is a huge part of it. At the moment XC and Adventure flying are my favourites. I also love video and photography so combining those with paragliding is really exciting for me.
