I’m a product designer from Croatia who ended up in the paragliding world completely by chance. I was on vacation in Corfu with my friend, and we had 2 days left until the end of the vacation. We already saw the entire island, so we googled what we could do there and one of the options was tandem paragliding. As I was searching for options of who could take us flying, Facebook suggested an ad for a course back in Croatia that said: “Become a paragliding pilot”. I didn’t think much, I just applied - what could go wrong, right? I went to the demo day of that course and saw a guy flying from a 50m hill, and I was just convinced that this is the right thing for me. Since getting my license last June, I've logged 170 flight hours across seven countries. My life has completely turned around (and I love it :D). I just can’t get enough of this sport. Recently, I upgraded from the Epic 2 to the Base 2 after an amazing week of flying in Macedonia. Flying BGD is pure joy design, handling, and vibrant colors make every flight amazing :) I love XC the most and aim to improve while having fun. It's exciting to see my progress and how much further and longer I can fly now. Besides flying, I do quite a lot of traveling (now I pair it with flying - which is a perfect match). I also do quite a lot of pole dancing - I used to compete and spend hours in the studio almost every day. Other than that, I spend quite a bit of time with my family and friends, and just enjoy being on the move whenever I can.
