Paula is a product designer who ended up in the paragliding world completely by chance, when she stumbled upon a “learn to paraglide” ad. What could go wrong, she thought. She got her license in 2023 and logged 170 hours in seven countries, in her first year. “My life has completely turned around (and I love it :D). I just can’t get enough of this sport!” She switched from the Epic 2 to the Base 2 after an amazing week of flying in Macedonia. Paula says flying BGD is “pure joy: the design, handling, and vibrant colours make every flight amazing :)” XC is her favourite flying discipline, and works perfectly with her other passion, travel. She also loves pole dancing, and used to compete!
