BGD Team Pilot Muzi (Li Shengtao) is taking on the biggest hike-and-fly challenge there is: Everest!
He left Everest Base Camp on 14 May, and hopes to summit the 8,848m mountain on 17th or 18th May. If he succeeds, and the winds are good (and we have everything crossed that they will be) he hopes to fly from the summit with his ANDA XS.
Babu Sunuwar is supporting Muzi from Nepal, and arranged the flying permit for him. Babu holds celebrity status among the climbing and paragliding community in Nepal for his own 2011 tandem flight from Everest, which also won his national Geographic Adventurer of the Year.
