I started dreaming of the sky when I was 8 years old. I watched my father flying, and dreamed of being free. I did my first solo flight at the age of 14, and fell in love! I followed my dreams, but first I had another dream – in-line skating and ice skating. I took part in two Olympic Games: Sochi in 2014 and PyeongChang in 2018. HIke and Fly was my favourite way to get fit for this – hiking hills then flying down. In 2021 I quit my professional skating career and focused more on flying. I did some classic paragliding competitions (Triveneto), but hike-and-fly races are what I really love. This year I took part in the PreAlpi tour. I am also part of the Aku hike-and-fly team, and that has led me to get more into trail running. In 2023 I got my tandem licence, to allow me to share my passion for flying with others. Find my article on the PreAlpi tour in The Pill Outdoor Journal 62.
