Guillaume grew up in the Flat Country far from the mountains, so although maybe he was not destined to paraglide, he always had a great interest in nature and outdoor activities. He started falling with a parachute before learning to fly, but soon became completely devoted to paragliding. "I like the idea of being able to move through the mountains by air, without motors, by feeling natural elements; that's how I started cross country flying. From the beginning I have always flown colourful BGD gliders". Guillaume is self-taught in the disciplines he practices and says he is always learning, by watching and listening to others. Through paragliding he discovered mountaineering and climbing, with the idea of taking off from summits. Guillaume especially loves projects that mix different disciplines and allow him to meet new people.
