Claire Garnesson's finished the 2021 cross-country season with a second place in the women's rankings of XContest, flying the Cure 2.
Rising Swiss star Serena Ronchi took first place, with 1784.99 points, all of her contributing flights coming from a four-month trip to Brazil. All of Claire's point tally was 1531.96, and all six flights were flown in her homeland of France, all FAI or flat triangles. The biggest point-winner was a 183km FAI triangle from Col de Bleyne in August, a hard-won flight that had taken two years of attempts, planning and perseverance to finally pull off.
