Team news: Rene takes on the Swiss Paragliding League

Rene Falquier made a big move last year, across the Atlantic to his new home in Switzerland where he and his striking custom-colours Base 2 will be flying hard in the Swiss Paragliding League Here's his update:
"I spent the better part of 2021 moving into my new home in Lucerne, Switzerland. New job, new place to live, and most importantly, new flying sites! During the week, I work as an aeronautical systems engineer and am responsible for optimising and certifying turbine installations for cutting-edge trainer airplanes.
On the weekends, I am chasing turnpoints in the world-famous Swiss Paragliding League. I had a good run in 2021 despite the "distractions" and re-qualified for 2022 with a strong finish at the SLC Final in Verbier. I am looking forward to another great flying season with some phenomenal pilots amid the local Alpine eye-candy.
Here's to spreading the BGD colours on every take-off, valley crossing, and landing site that I find myself in. Fly far, fly fun, and fly BGD!"
