This is not an upgrade – it's a brand-new wing. We started fresh with the DUAL 3, aiming to make a tandem that really feels like flying solo. The handling is crisp and direct. You can core thermals with ease, pull smooth wingovers, and even cobra launch if the mood takes you.
We worked a lot on the brake geometry – getting just the right amount of feedback and response so it’s intuitive and fun for the pilot while remaining super smooth and relaxing for the passenger. Thrill and chill!
We re-engineered the trimmers, too: they now have a full 16cm of direct travel (no more 2:1 ratio) and 25mm rollercam buckles with a neoprene cover. That means more usable speed, better handling in wind, and easy, fast adjustment.
By simplifying the construction we’ve made it lighter than the Dual 2 without compromising performance. The glide is better, the climb rate is impressive, and the overall experience is just... a joy.
This is our best tandem yet – a real pilot’s tandem that still pampers the passenger.
