John Eduard Gomez has always loved aviation. He is an Aeronautical Engineer and works as a project advisor, helping promote entrepreneurship and industrial development in Colombia. He first discovered paragliding in 2007 and knew straight away that the sport meant freedom at its best, and that he wanted to do it. He finally took to the skies under a paraglider in 2012, and found his niche in accuracy competitions. He has been competing since 2016 and is training for the next World Paragliding Accuracy Championship. Eduard says that for him, paragliding is a vehicle that breaks and crosses borders. It has taken him to magical places including Ecuador, Venezuela, Chile, USA, the United Kingdom and Serbia. He says that it is the perfect means to travel and discover the world from another perspective. Eduard is an authentic, competitive and responsible pilot. He loves to travel, learn about other cultures and to compete under his country’s flag.
