Warrick learnt to paraglide when he was travelling in 2015 in South Africa. Already a keen snowboarder, he was looking for another reason to keep exploring the world and to spend more time in the mountains. A couple of years after learning to fly he moved to the Southern Alps in New Zealand where he now lives. He's in he air as much as possible, with spring and summer dedicated to XC paragliding in NZ, and autumn and winter for paramotoring and hike and fly. He built an off-grid camper that fits 2 paramotors and 6 wings for himself, his partner and their Ridgeback for NZ missions. The last 2 years he was doing his commercial fixed wing license, which he earned in 2025. It meant a little less time for paragliding, but since finishing he has been back in the air with his Lynx 2, having some great XC flights, and says his passion for paragliding is as strong as ever!
