Congratulations to Vlastimil Vachl and Markéta Tomášková of the Czech Republic, who were third overall and second woman in the European Paragliding Accuracy Championships 2022. They played a big part in taking the Czech Republic to second place in the Nations rankings too.
Vlastimil flew an Adam, and Marketa a Base 2. Both pilots were also silver medallists at the World Championships in October 2021, flying Adams. The Europeans took place in Sibiu, Romania from 4th to 10th September, with 97 pilots from 20 countries competing.
Also in the top ten, Adam pilots Almas Akhmetov (KAZ) and Umut Akcil (TUR) came 6th and 7th in the overall Europeans rankings – congratulations to them!
Vlastimil told us, "the competition is really fierce, atmosphere usually festival-like and it attracts quite a number of very good pilots."
