Amy began paragliding in 2015 when she had the opportunity to take lessons in California. As soon as she took her first flight she knew this would be a big part of her life. Amy thinks that nothing compares to seeing the landscapes she loves from the sky, because it's such a different perspective looking down at the mountains so effortlessly especially when it's an area that was a difficult hike up. She has spent as much time as possible paragliding and studying the weather and learning everything she can about the sport. Amy chose to fly a BGD wing because as an artist the first time she saw the beautiful colours she wanted to try one out, and after trying it out she was hooked! It was the perfect combination of fun colours and fun performance. Amy also enjoys creating art, painting, tattooing, and spending time her family.
