Darius started gliding at 14 years and moved to Austria for work when he was 20. He fell in love with the mountains and paragliding, so hike-and-fly was the clear way to go. He’s planning to challenge himself with hike-and-fly races like Bordairrace, and absolutely loves a sunset hike-and-fly – who doesn’t? His most memorable flight was a sunset flight with two friends after the cable car was closed. His personal best XC flying is a 146km out-and-return from is home site, Hohe Wand. He topped off a great flight by landing next to the railway station for an easy ride home!
