European Paragliding Accuracy Championships 2024

Congratulations to BGD team pilot Markéta Tomášková, who is women’s European Paragliding Accuracy Champion for 2024.

The Championships took place in Gjirokaster, Albania, from 4-12 October. Yang Chen of China flew on invitation as a (non-European) guest and won the overalls, with a score of just 9 cm in total (12 rounds were flown, each pilot's worst score is dropped). As a non-European he can't take the title of European Champion – that honour goes to Ivan Pavlov of Serbia who scored 13 in total flying a DaVinci glider.

100 pilots from 22 countries and two guest countries took part in the event, which was a winch-launch competition. Congratulations to all the BGD pilots who took part.

Prizes were awarded in Overall, Female, Junior and National Team categories.
