"Go outside (worst case scenario, a bear kills you)”. This quote not only hangs on the wall at my home, it also describes my interest in all outdoor activities well. I first came into contact with paragliding when I went for a tandem flight in South Tyrol. The endless, expansive view of nature from above immediately captivated me. I like the freedom up there. I started training as soon as I got home. My first glider was a BGD Adam; then I had a magic and now an Echo 2. What can I say, I just like them! I have been back to where it all began for me, in the South Tyrol, a few times (I love that place and it feels a bit like home to me!) but I also like to discover new places with my paraglider. It's hard for me to choose between a nice hike and fly or XC – both have their appeal. Cross-country flying is definitely something I want to develop further, and I hope for many more beautiful flying experiences in the coming years.
