Entries are open for BGD Weightless 2022, the friendly XC competition which this year will be held in Piedrahita, Spain from 21-27 August.
2022's will be the fifth annual Weightless. The competition has a unique weight-adjusted scoring system that aims to even out the advantages that flying heavier usually means. We want to create a more level playing field for pilots of all sizes, without pilots needing to carry ballast.
It is a friendly competition in a supportive environment, and is suitable for pilots who have flown their first 20km+ flights and are keen to develop their XC flying.
As well as the flying, there will be daily talks and a prize draw with some fantastic prizes. All competitors' names will be in the hat, and top prizes are a brand new paraglider and a Naviter flight instrument.
