Congratulations to team pilot Augustin Bedek, who finished 2nd in the XContest 2025 Standard Class flying the BREEZE and BASE 3.
He notched up several 200km+ flights, the first being a 230km flat triangle from Col du Fer on the BASE 3 on 18th May. He switched to the BREEZE in June, flying many more big flights including six 200km+ FAI triangles.
His top-scoring flight, screenshot above, was a 245.83km FAI triangle from Col de l’Izoard on 18 August, on the Breeze.
