Eva is a Spanish competiton and cross-country pilot, currently living in the Swiss Alps. She started paragliding in 2016, and by 2018 she was doing competitions. She says these have been her true school! "Surrounded by exceptional pilots, I've learned and grown with every flight. What captivates me most is cross-country flying: the ability to reach new peaks, traverse valleys, and discover unexplored places from the sky". Eva says flying offers her an indescribable sense of freedom. Through this sport, she has met incredible people worldwide and experienced moments that have profoundly impacted her life. Leaving her family and friends in Spain to move to Switzerland was challenging, but she says the Swiss Alps have become her paradise for flying and other passions like skiing and cycling. Her favorite flights are not necessarily her longest (she has flown 200k). They include crossing the Sierra de Gredos in 2018; flying in the Himalaya, Nepal; flying around Mont Blanc; flying alongside the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Current projects include continuing to improve as a pilot ad competitor, and getting her tandem pilot license in Switzerland, "to transform my passion into my profession".
