Yasaman started flying in 2019, attracted by the sense of freedom. The mental focus, technical detail, and demand for consistency required by accuracy really appealed to her and this became her focus. She has competed in national and international competitions with great results, and was Women’s World Champion in 2023! Beyond competition, Yasaman is passionate about education and mentorship. As an athlete and an academic, she values discipline, responsibility, and continuous growth. For her, paragliding is not only a sport but a path toward precision, resilience, and inspiring more women to confidently enter and excel in aviation. She runs specialised accuracy landing training courses and is actively involved in coaching and developing pilots in Iran.
