Corentin Tran wins Chartreuse X-Plouf 2025

Congratulations to Corentin Tran, who won the Chartreuse X-Plouf (green category) on 11-12 October 2025, flying the BREEZE. This was Corentin's first hike-and-fly comp, flown on a glider he'd just received. A match made in heaven, and a taste of more good things to come, we think!

The Chartreuse X-Plouf is a friendly two-day event which takes place in Saint-Hugues de Chartreuse. There are two race categories, green and yellow.

Pilots in the green category have to hike to four different launches, twice over the weekend! That’s a total of 7,300m ascent over the two days. There are bonus points to be had for visiting various local business and taking selfies – solo and group, and penalties for landing outside of official landing zones.

Same rules for the yellows, but with two summits (1,885m total elevation gain) to tackle each day.
