Congratulations to BGD Team pilot Yang Chan, who won the Paragliding Accuracy World Cup Superfinal 2023 with an impressive total of just 6 points scored in six rounds.
(In accuracy, being spot-on the target is what counts. The points represent the distance from centre, so the smaller the better. Six points in six rounds (they flew seven, but one was dropped) is a very impressive score.
The Superfinal took place in Jingmen City, Hubei Province, China, Yang’s home country. Only the top pilots from the five rounds (which this year were held in Thailand, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Indonesia and Germany) win places in the Superfinal.
Three of the top ranked pilots in the Superfinal were flying Adams – congratulations to Nawaf Al-Rehaili of Saudi Arabia and Vlastimil Vachtl of the Czech Republic who came joint fourth with 15 points.
