Andres is an all-round pilot, a professional tandem pilot and instructor, an accuracy competitor and paramotor pilot. He has always been into flying, and dreamed of being an aeroplane pilot as a child. He was in the air force for two years, but then switched careers to become a physical education teacher in the city of Cordoba. It was there that he discovered paragliding. He qualified as a paraglider pilot in 2003, and started working as an instructor and tandem professional in 2010. He has been flying BGD wings since 2014. he plans to continue competing in high-level accuracy events, alongside training new pilots.
The 2nd FAI Pan American Paragliding Accuracy Championships finished in Arica, Chile on Sunday 19 July.
