Camp Forever – new life for BGD wings in Turin

Some of BGD’s prototype wings have found new life at a permanent exhibition in the Museo Nazionale Della Montagna (@museo_montagna) in Turin, Italy.
The installation, which is called Camp Forever, opened on 29 October 2025. It was created by the Cool Couple collective (@the_coolest_couple) and is installed in the museum lobby, where it is the first thing visitors see. It presents the museum as “a vital, ever-evolving space, a starting point for new explorations”.
Camp Forever reflects on the theme of a tent as “an essential structure for travel and a symbol of temporary shelter, not only for outdoor enthusiasts but for anyone in a situation of transit or emergency”.
“By using a selection of durable, high-performance technical materials – typical of mountaineering tents but also of kites, parachutes, and paragliders – the work links lightness, an essential quality for confronting the elements at high altitude, with the fragility of mountain ecosystems threatened by climate change. It thus intertwines the poetic and mythological imagery of flight with environmental awareness.”
