A climber and mountaineer with some famous peaks to his name such as Fitz Roy, Aguja Poincenot, Aguja Saint Exupery, Facu started flying in November 2023. It was an ambition he had held for years, and a life-changer. “From that moment on, I focussed my life 100% on paragliding”. He combines his flying with mountaineering, seeking to reach the base of the walls with my paraglider and then climb and fly back home. “My big dreams are in Argentine Patagonia, the Andes mountain range in the Mendoza area, and the Cordillera Real in Bolivia.“ He plans to do more cross-country flying, hoping to break 200km in Brazil, and start competing in the SRS (Sports-class Racing Series). He also plans to do the Fly Trans Capixaba hike-and-fly comp in Brazil in 2026. He also dreams of being able to tandem fly to take people with disabilities in different flying areas in Argentina. He chose BGD because “they are like a big family, because of the safety they provide with their paragliders, and because of the crazy and beautiful style”. He is into self-awareness and meditating, and enjoys spending time with his family. And a good barbecue with friends!
