Isaac started flying at the age of 13. Growing up with a father who is a pilot sparked a deep curiosity for flight, the mountains, meteorology and thermal dynamics. His first glider was the Epic 2, and says he really connected with the way it flies. The sport that started as a hobby soon developed into structured training and competitive flying. Over the last few years he has participated in national and international events across South America and Europe, giving him flying experience in different terrains and weather conditions, and learning to handle competitive pressure. His goal is to keep pushing forwards in high-performance XC flying, improving his decision-making in the air and maximising distance safely and strategically. His passion for now is in the Sports Class, but his ultimate goal is to one day compete in the World Championships, and even to become World Champion. :-)
