SRS BGD Edition 2024 a great success!

The BGD edition of the Sports-Class Racing Series took place in Berga, Spain in the first week of June. It was a great success, with four varied tasks of 45km to 65km which took pilots into the mountains and the flats.

Spanish pilot Rafael Rosa Prat won, ahead of Pál Takáts and Christiaan Durrant. BGD Team Pilot Daniel Crespo finished fourth flying the Lynx 2, and Bruce Goldsmith finished 6th, also on the Lynx 2.

The first woman was Chile’s Lene Spaarwater; BGD Team Pilots Mette Krum of Denmark and Mamen Romero were 6th and 7th women, flying the Base 2 and Lynx 2 respectively. Pál Takáts' team, Masterclass was top team, and Team BGD (Bruce, Daniel, Kayvan Arianpour and Ken Wilkinson) finished in third.

There was a brand new BGD glider up for grabs in the prize draw, and it was Yuki Sato Colombé who had the winning number for that; Arnold Castro also went home very happy, with a brand new Naviter Omni instrument.
