Descrizione
Il CURE 3 è il nostro EN-C due linee più avanzato, frutto del progetto di ricerca BGD Performance. Condivide filosofia progettuale e tratti di famiglia con la DIVA 2, la BASE 3 e la BREEZE, combinando prestazioni ai vertici della categoria con un'eccellente sicurezza passiva ed un ottimo feeling.
È stato progettato per competere con i migliori EN-C nelle competizioni Serial: velocità e planata sono quindi priorità assolute. Ma ciò che lo distingue davvero è il fatto che a queste caratteristiche unisce un’eccellente maneggevolezza. Piccoli input sui freni producono risposte immediate, il CURE 3 ha una bellissima virata.
La velocità massima è molto elevata e la vela è estremamente stabile anche al massimo della velocità, trasmettendo una sensazione rassicurante di stabilità strutturale. È grandioso in termica! Può girare in modo piatto ed efficiente ma ama anche essere inclinato per aggrapparsi ai core più forti e salire come un razzo.
E quando si tratta di planare… questo parapendio è impressionante. Bruce lo ha descritto come un’ala dal “never-landing feeling”: sai, quel momento in cui il giorno volge al termine, i raggi del sole toccano le colline, stai ancora veleggiando sui crinali in cerca dell’ultima termica, con il CURE 3 è tutto più rilassato, perché semplicemente non sembra voler scendere.

Il CURE 3 è il nostro EN-C due linee ad alte prestazioni, progettato per i grandi voli di cross country e le gare in classe serial. È una cura miracolosa per chi è stato contagiato dal virus del volo!
Le Note di Bruce
La forma del CURE 3 è stata ottimizzata per l’efficienza e le prestazioni, sfruttando la nostra esperienza aerodinamica e Parasim, il nostro software interno di simulazione.
Esteticamente, somiglia alla DIVA 2 e alla BASE 3, ma ogni vela ha un progetto specifico, adattato in base alla disposizione delle linee, all'allungamento e ad altri parametri. Il CURE 3 presenta un arco pronunciato, linee corte ed estremità alari affusolate e rastremate per ridurre la resistenza aerodinamica. Le estremità alari sono particolarmente inclinate sul CURE 3.
Lo stabilo è integrato nella linea AR3, il che permette una riduzione della resistenza grazie al minor numero di linee. Le orecchie si eseguono tramite le linee AR3. Le winglets aiutano ad uscire automaticamente anche dalle spirali più accentuate.
Il team sottopone i prototipi a prove ripetute con diversi carichi ed imbraghi, nelle condizioni più impegnative. Il loro compito non è solo ottenere l’omologazione ma molto di più: affinano il comportamento in volo, aumentano il fattore divertimento e perfezionano la maneggevolezza, assicurandosi che il CURE 3 sia un vero piacere da pilotare, e che decolli e atterraggi siano semplici e sicuri.
