Marika has always lived near Trento, Italy, and dreamed of flying as a child. As a teenager she started outdoor sports, especially hiking, running, cycling. She loved the mountains, landscapes and nature. She started paragliding in 2023. For her, flying represents the greatest freedom and happiness! She has flown many places in Italy: Trentino Alto Adige (Panarotta, Canazei and the Dolomites, Lake Garda and Bassano del Grappa. She graduated and now works full time likeasa nurse in an Intensive Care Unit. She likes being in contact with people and helping them. She lives with her parents Guido, Giulia and her dog Yago. Marika loves exploring the mountains, especially multi-days trips, and loves to combine hiking and flying. She has been flying the Epic 2 since 2023 and experienced her first XC flights on it; she has also chosen an Anda for Hike&Fly. She says these colourful wings are just perfect a light pilot who needs a safe wing with good glide performance for her adventures. She wants to continue to discover the mountains from the sky, to explore new places and countries and meet other BGD pilots to share opinions, smiles and flying experiences!
