Like many pilots, Lucie got into paragliding thanks to her dad. At 16, she earned her pilot’s license at the Czech school Baraka Paragliding and quickly fell in love with flying. After a serious accident in 2019, she lost interest in XC flying in thermals, but discovered her passion for the accuracy landing discipline instead. Thanks to the support of friends and the Czech Light Aircraft Association, she’s had the chance to travel to countries like Kazakhstan and Turkey and meet many inspiring people who share the same passion for the sport. Lucie says her goal is to keep improving – both physically and mentally – and to represent the Czech Republic as well as the BGD brand, whose wings allow her to compete with the world’s best.
