Nuri moved to Sakarya with his family in 2020, and started flying with his dad the same year at the age of 15. He did his first XC flights in 2022, and since 2023 he has been actively competing and flying XC. He really enjoys hike-and-fly, and competed in Turkey’s first hike-and-fly competition in 2024. He came first in the Sport Class at the 2024 Turkish Championship, and third in the Junior Category in 2025. He started teaching in 2025, and works as an instructor at a local flight school. His goals include flying 350km+ in his area (wow!) and starting vol-biv. He also plans to start some acro next season, with the Epic Freestyle. He chose to fly BGD because of the Diva 2. He says, “the wing is really stable, and that's what I'm looking for when flying at full speed in competition”
