Sue Britnell has always lived near Oxford, UK, and dreamed of flying as a child. As a teenager she started skydiving, and later gained a Private Pilots' Licence including flying aerobatics. She started paragliding in 2016, ordering her BGD Wasp at the end of her first day of training because of its beautiful colours and option of paramotoring too. She has flown in France, Spain, Turkey and Nepal as well as throughout the UK. She is a Chartered Accountant and volunteers as Treasurer for the BHPA Paragliding Competitions Panel. Now working part time, she has more time for flying! She is into accuracy, and is in the British Squad. With her Epic 2 she is also getting into cross-country flying, and flies in the British Club Challenge competitions, where she won the 2021 'Spirit of BCC' award. Sue also enjoys running, cycling and furniture up-cycling. She lives with her partner Paul, daughter Becky and cat Lexi.
