Luigi started skydiving in 1978, and first launched parachutes from slopes in 1980, before paragliding was even invented! He was director of the Aosta parachuting school in Italy, and took part in many international parachuting precision landing competitions. He has been paragliding for over 25 years, and these days flies almost exclusively tandem. he flies tandems professionally, and now also with his son Valerio, who was born in 2014 and has inherited the flying gene. From an early age, Valerio has always loved sport and has a curiosity and passion for everything that flies. In 2018, after his second time at the Coupe Icare, France he wanted to fly with dad on a tandem paraglider, and their shared passion has made them a very tight father-and-son unit. Valerio started groundhandling with a SEED from a very young age, and now has an ANDA. He is growing his skills on the training slopes, and looking forward to reaching the age where he can truly fly solo.
