Daniel Sanz

colombia

A talented XC pilot from Colombia, Daniel always wanted to fly. He had watched all the videos he could find on the subject by the time he was able to learn in 2019, which meant he progressed fast! He is an industrial designer and now a commercial tandem pilot, who flies tandem from a technical launch at 3,000m in Colombia. He has pioneered new XC routes in his area, encouraging other pilots to fly XC there. He plans to move to Brazil in 2026 to crack the 300km distance. Daniel was the technical director and one of the talented pilots in the BGD team at the SRS in Roldanillo in 2026: The team came 2nd, with three pilots in the Top 5 all on CURE 3s! He says he has always been a fan of BGD for the mix of safety, fun and performance.
