Nezih Şensoy

Nezih is a sports-class competition pilot and is reigning Turkish sports-class champion. He flies a Cure 3 and is on Turkey’s national XC team. He also races in hike-and-fly competitions. He took part in the Bornes to Fly 2026 – the first Turkish athlete to do so. His job is a model plane instructor, and model planes were where his aviation journey began at the age of 12. He moved from these into drones, before getting airborne himself for the first time in 2017. He’ll be competing in the SRS 2026 on the Cure 3 and also has plans to pioneer previously unflown XC routes across Turkey. He also has some challenging mountaineering / flying projects up his sleeve.
