Joar is a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) pilot. He lives in Norway, and flies with his partner Kristine. He loves making videos, and uploads anew video to his Youtube channel every Thursday. He taught his son to fly a drone to help with filming! He flies several BGD wings, but says the ANDA is the one which probably comes out most often – its super-easy launch really helps extend the flying possibilities in Norway, where conditions can be tricky, and it’s the perfect tool for exploring unflown hike-and-fly possibilities. He also spends a lot of time helping beginners groundhandle with his SEED, and likes to share his flying passion with others through tandem flights. Paragliding has taken him around the world, including Namibia and Las Palmas, but mostly he enjoys the remote mountains of Norway. He chose BGD wings for their performance, but also because they are among the coolest looking gliders in the world!
